Hallo alle!
Sorry I kept myself in a non-interacting way because I was travelling but followed the conversations.
Im on my way to the compost castle and what I did before I left was building a carton box placing a t-shirt on the bottom filled with
the composting matters -- I left the box half open at the top and sort of half covered it with the almost empty bag of the soil we all got.
Im now going to check what happened.
About keeping updated the page on the site well...I could only place an Avatar but no pictures and no text..Still fighting to understand how.
What I mostly love is to see how passionate the discussion is and I personally see it totally organic to the process of our composting journey...Composting food, thoughts, emotions and related mutations including environmental accidents.
Our daily feeding and related thoughts, misunderstandings (including tongue-like mistakes) but also achievements almost remind me of the myth of Babilonia (a dream and a nightmare at the same time).
I guess this reflections are exactely what I should post on the web site...But while fighting to make it happen Ill just communicate directely to you dears companions.
P.S
I dont know who is updating the website relating to the credits page where our names as adoptors are displayed (http://www.compostingthecity.mobi/berlin/html/credits.html)...I wrote to Shu Lea Cheang to ask to link my name to my projectspace but I see nothing changed.
So...If any of you is doing that please link my name to www.liebig12.wordpress.com (it is actually my artist studio that works as a projectspace too and if by the way anyone as ideas or projects to present please visit me or write me!***it is in FrankfurterTor***and open to host almost any idea).
I wish u a beautiful day.

Oggetto: [Adoptacomposter] meeting
Hello all,
just looked at the doodle and realized that most people could meet
on Tuesday (yesterday). Did that happen?
I was sick yesterday, unfortunately, and am still recovering. It
would be great if someone else took the lead on our plans to meet.
Also, Gaby informed me yesterday that the worm house and area around
it is pretty trashed - litter everywhere, smell of urine, and flies
and wasps swarming around the bins.
This is the reality of Kreuzberg - if there is little activity and
"social control" around a project, it literally gets "composted" by
the circumstances of the city.
I realize we're all super busy people, most of us with very little
experience vermicomposting, but for this project to survive, I do
think that a regular meeting (say once a month?) or at the very
least one initial meeting where everyone (including more silent
members and rudi, the worming expert) get together and exchange
practicle knowledge about care & feeding, bedding insulation,
and eventually design.
suggestions much appreciated!
best, Alex
