hello everyone*

im really sorry for introducing myself so late.
i was extremely busy last 3 weeks, although i visited my composter several times to feed the worms .

my name is tikul . im a new media artist, mainly working with video, installation, self-build electronics and experimental sound ..
im interested in hacking devices, video glitches, video-body art and processes of decay in various contexts : )

im also vegan/vegetarian since over 10 years, learning about natural food cycles, processes, local food grow etc

despite that, what interests me in the 'composting project' are artistic possibilities and for future concepts / performances

composting the net awakes so many thoughts on net culture and politics, the 'massive' streams of data flow and data 'waste'

excited to take part in this collective project

im not really sure if im taking care of my composter in a right way

my worms are not extremely active but they're still alive : ) or at least some of them ..

im giving them bits and scraps every week and i've added some soil

i think the worms may not survive the cold winter and not sure whats the plan for that

my only 'composting' experience - when i was a child and my grandmother had allotment and there was a composter
but as far as i remember no one was really taking care of it . it was just a mound of fruit / vegetable scraps and the 'nature' itself was taking care of the rest : )
