wait.... i think alex has her own worm at home.... dont think your worms dead..
check your composter bag and if wet, put papers, newspapers in it...
take the compost out of bag, and make insulation to keep worm in and warm....
as i mentioned, if you do some clothes ,old 
sweaters, newspaper installation, it will also
suck up the water, moist....

for alex.. if all liquid come to yuour unit, your comptost would be most rich.
but anyway, i am not expecting lots of liquid from your composting yet...
as it takes some time to rot....
